he was gone when i was just abt to finish writing my midyr gp essay.

i remember he used to call me banana. i remember how we stopped at evry floor of th hotel during cny dinners just to scare ourselves, screaming our lungs out when th lift door opened & th whole floor was pitchdark. how we played firecrackers evry cny without fail; how we ran together hand in hand down th back alleys when th police chased after us for doing so. how he tried to teach me to play basketball; how we teamed up for mini bball matches. how he was always letting us have the best.

how we grew up together.

car crash, i was told.
went back.
read th newspapers. car crash? understatement. the car was a total wreck. flattened. they had to pry open th car just to get him out.

saw his picture, i cried.
i looked at him. he looked so different. i cried evn more. he was going to university nxt mth.
to think i just saw him last week.

and i only said hi.

i hope you'll be happy up there.
